A Great Asset

When JCK launched its first jewelry industry show, our goal was to be more beneficial to jewelers than any other show. If one single component reimagined how jewelry industry shows should operate, it was the education program that George Holmes launched and Charlotte Preston nurtured, convincing jewelers to leave their stores early enough to take advantage of the preshow seminars, workshops, and demonstrations she planned each year.

I had the pleasure to work with Charlotte on several of those programs and was constantly impressed by how much forethought she put into shaping the event to meet the needs of jewelers, sometimes before jewelers even knew their own needs.
